Nellie was born and raised in New York City and has always had a love for storytelling, especially when she tried using them to get herself out of trouble growing up.

Her first job was at the infamous New York Public Library in New York City, where she read countless fiction and non-fiction books.

She considers her imagination a wondrous kaleidoscope and will continue to write as long as the patterns reflect off the page.
